mail adapter

hai

my scenerio is like this ,if an error occured during processing the file. iwant to send the mail to a person.

hw can to this in XI, what are the things needed to do it.

Hi Tamilarasan,

You have to configure mail adapter at receiver side and sepcify the details of mail IDs( In maill attributes) to whom you want to send the error message that occured by file adapter.

Now you have to configure file adapter at sender side.

Hi,

we have used BPM to achieve this scenario, have nt tried calling from UDF

using javax.mailing service. U can give it a try.

You need to do this by CCMS alerts.

i want like this, i want to configure mail adapter to send the error data(i.e the data which come from file using file adapter) using mail adapter.

not the one that is monitior the error..

Hi,

The following blog describes how to send the the file as an attachment in the receiver mail adapter.I have never tried this,hope it helps.
