Hide or scramble application url

Hello,

In my customized workflow, i am sending emails with links. A link contain the server, the application and one parameter which is po number. My requirement is to make these links secure and restrict the visibility of the url in some way. In the standard, everyone can see the url.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi Efren,

Create a seperate component and application, just provide the new application link in your mailer.

When user clicks on that application link, (you can provide PO as parameter) inside the new component you extract the url and take the PO and pass it to your target URL(which consists confidential server names and all).

Hope this would resolve your problem.
