How to put an Order block on a sold-to but keep it active as a ship-to

I have a customer (CUSTOMER 1) which has been set-up as both a sold-to and ship-to partner but indead, it's only a ship-to party.

This SAP customer '1) is set-up in parallele as a ship-to party attached to a 2nd sold-to party (CUSTOMER 2).

I cannot delete the sold-to party role on CUSTOMER 1 but I would like to block it in term of Sales Order creation against it as a sold-to but keep CUSTOMER 1 active as a ship-to of customer 2.

Buy putting an overall order block on CUSTOMER 1, it does not work as I cannot aswell created SO on CUSTOMER 2 as a sold-to and CUSTOMER 1 as a ship-to.

What is the proper block to be set against CUSTOMER 1 then?

Dear Frederic,

You have the delivery block option in Sales document type and Sale order . It will impact in sale order and not to create the delivery block. kindly check in the screen shots

It is possible to set a sales order block via XD05/VD05 for the following business partner functions

- sold to party

- ship to party

- payer.

This has been explained in the SAP Note 353718.

Please go through the following example :

With TCode : VA01

Create a new SO with sold-to = 1002 (not blocked) -> For Example

                                ship-to = 1001 (blocked) -> For Example

    <ENTER>

    Ship-to party 1001 can not be used (log)

    Message no. VP204

    <ENTER>

    There is an order block for customer 1001 (Overall block)

    Message no. VPD020

    It would not let me save.

I suppose this information would help you.
