Org_structure - query

Hi All,

We have two backend systems for our SRM system,A and B.We are looking for options for cross company code buying.

Taking an example : Company code 1000 belongs to backend A;  company code 2000 belongs to backend B.

Under CC1000-->have P.org X -->P.grp 100

Under CC2000-->have P.org Y -->P.grp 200

user from CC1000 should be able to procure for 2000 also.For cross company code buying,wt we do is

1.add org.unit Y to the responsibility tab of P.grp 100

2.add attriute- company code 2000 to users attribute.

Have made this change and also added attributes for vendor system,p.org.Included plant belonging to CC2000 in extended attributes.

When trying to shop, on selecting company code- donot see the option 2000 .Is this because it belongs to a diffrent backend system??

Kindly suggest your inputs.

Thanks,

Supriya

Hi Supriya,

How have you defined the org structure for two different backend logical system?

Is it like two separate root node for two different backend system in the org structure?

Thanks & Regards,

Hi,

Did you check the user / user org.unit companycode attribute? User attribute should contain the list of company codes for which user is authorized. Against the company code attribute you can also find the logical system option where you can maintin various backend systems.

Please check the user attributes, if user has got access to 2000 company in attribute then definately user can select that company code in Shopping cart item Basic data screen.

Kind regards,

Krish.
