Client Copy 000

Hi,

I am a functional consultant and wanted to learn a thing about copying from 000. we have copied the 000 using SAP_CUST profile but we are getting default data in SAP like company codes, Chart of Accounts etc which we do not need. I have read through many forums but could not understand customing data, application data, user master data etc kind of words while copying it from 000.

i want a clean SAP system without any data in it. would there be any implications from functional perspective? My main concern is we are using Tax Functionality (TCode OBYZ) and there are couple of conditions which SAP defaults generally in SAP which are required for my purpose. Would those be missed if i ask for a clean SAP system. Can we include just this functionality and exclude rest of them.

Thanks

Shriya

I think you would have done better with SAP_USER, just my 2 cents.

Hi,

if you want a new and clean client on your SAP system, you only need to create it using SCC4 on client 000. You don't need to use the client copy function (SCCL) afterwards...

Yes we are using 000 to copy it for our production client but still there is some default data like company codes, chart of accounts etc...these are like sample data in SAP like sample company code brazil, sample chart of accounts belgium etc, we dont need all these stuff in our PRD client
