uPerform Collaboration Database installation imcompleted

Hi all,

We met a problem when install the uPerform Server. We used uPerform 4.4 and Oracle Database 11g R2 standard.

1. An error was detected during database schema creation. As a result, Collaboration database was not fully configured.

After I check the Collaboration-Installer.log, there was a failure as following:

(Mar 17, 2012 11:47:53 AM), Install, java.lang.Class, err, [## COLLAB INSTALL LOG ##] 17-Mar-2012 11:47:53 INFO (OraCreateUserAction) failed: Create UserProductUser

How to configure it manually?

2. After I intalled the Vignette Collaboration and Ancile uPerform, I tried to start service Vignette Collaboration, but it failed to start this service. And the host page showed:

Service Temporary Unavailable!

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later

How to fix this issues?

I solved the questions with the help of Ancile support team.

1. As a reminder, for the Database users' passwords,  only use alphanumeric characters (ie. 26 letters from A~Z both upper/lower cases and 10 digits from 0~9).

2. Configure the ODBC Administrator first before install the uPerform server.
