Hi,
I've followed all (I think) the hints in various documents on how to set my web.config to show images on a report, but in my dev machine, windows 7 32 bit with iis7, when i try to show a report with images in it, in a crystal web viewer, I cannot see the images (red x), while the images appear correctly when printing to a printer o exporting in pdf format, for example.
In my web.config I have:
</system.web>
<system.webServer>
<handlers>
<add name="CrystalImageHandler.aspx_GET" path="CrystalImageHandler.aspx" verb="GET" type="CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalImageHandler, CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=13.0.2000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=692fbea5521e1304" preCondition="integratedMode,runtimeVersionv4.0" />
</handlers>
<validation validateIntegratedModeConfiguration="false"/>
</system.webServer>
To be honest I don't know which application pool my app is running in, but both DefaultAppPool and Asp.Netv4 use frwk 4.0 and integrated mode Pipeline.
What else should I try/apply to solve this issue?
What browser are you suing to view the reports?
Is it the issue with all browsers.

Hmm - OK - my bad. I thought this was in a compiled web app run via IIS as this is where image problems normally happen. soa set of new questions:
How was CRVS2010 installed? Did you use the install exe, or the MSI?
What drive is CRVS2010 installed on?
- Ludek
Uninstall all the CR 13 components installed on the machine.
Download and install http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_13_0_2.exe on top of VS 2010.
- Bhushan.
Lorenzo, to integrate CRVS2010 into VS 2010, you must run the install exe, not MSI 32 or 64 bit, not the MSM. Just the install exe. Download the latest one from here:
http://downloads.businessobjects.com/akdlm/cr4vs2010/CRforVS_13_0_3.exe
Do not install any other CR "stuff".
- Ludek
I installed what Bhushan suggested..
Removed all the previous Cr 13 versions installed on this pc, then installed from the exe...
References from my app point to the newly installed path, so I think the installation went ok..
Still, no images shown..
I can try with the lates link from Ludek, which i believe is newer. I will keep you informed..
Hi again,
resuming all, I have 3 completely different pcs with the same problem: cannot see images in the preview in web control, when I launch my app from inside VS.
2 are with vs 2010 and Cr for vs 2010 (one is windows 7 32 bit, one windows 7 64bit), one is vs 2008 with Cr 2008 and win xp.
Now i'm almost sure it's a configuration problem, but I cannot guess what it is, and I HAVE to solve it.
Can someone point me in the right direction??

Just to be sure: is this issue worthless of any more help?
I've followed all the hints and suggestions, remove and re-installed what suggested, without success.
As I already said, I'm not a web specialist, but everything I have done works well, apart from this little particular of the images not showing in the CR web control..
I read all the articles, notes, threads I found about this subject and as far as I can see everything is set up correctly, but of course something is NOT correct.
I need to find out what it is, and I think the only place where I can get some help is this one, or am I wrong?
