Inspection lot based on Customer

Dear Sir

For inspection orgin 04,we want inspection lot based on Customer i.e. in T-code QA32 in MTO scenario.We have did all the selection in dynamic slection also.we are not using inspection lot origin 05,06,10,11,12.

Hi, R u trying to say you want to use customer details in 04 inspection lot? If you want to use varinat config concept then it is possible to copy customer specification from the sales order. For that you can create characterstic. Assign it to the material master. And create the mic with respect to the class character. If they maintain the specification in the sales order you can get the details.

Secondly if your production order is created with respect to a sales order then you can get the sale order details from the inspection lot.

What is your requirement exactly??

Thanks for the reply,i have tested with SO its coming but when i using Customer as the input in T-code QA32 the data is not displayed.Same activity with SO its coming.

I think, you want to customer number as one of the selection criteria in QA32/QA33 transaction.

Customer number is not pre-defined as selection criteria for QA33/QA32 transaction.

Selection fields for QA33/QA32 transactions are based on structure QALS_D02. You need to append this structure.

You will need programming help to add this field to structure QALS_D02.

here are basic steps to add new filed to the structure

1 Call Transaction SE11.

2. Enter 'QALS_D02' in the Data type field and choose 'Change'.

3. Select the Customer number field select: Edit -> Transfer Fields or Extras -> Copy fields.

4. Enter 'QALS' as the structure name or table name and press Enter.

5. Select "customer number filed" and choose 'Transfer' or 'Copy'. The field is copied to the clipboard.

6. Append the field at the end of structure QALS_D02 using the insert icon. Ensure the field has the exact name as in structure QALS. Any prefixed characters should be deleted.

7. Afterwards the structure must be saved and activated.

8. Now call the worklist without a layout variant as the previous layout variants do not contain the field.

9. On the list, under Settings -> Layout Change you can select your new field as a column using the filter value 'All' in the column set and transfer it to the displayed column selection.

10. Then save your layout variant.

In MTO you must use variant configuration.  In the 04 inspection type set up you must select the indicator "insect by var.conf.". (or something close to that).  You also select inspect by task list.  You can then make assignments of plans by customer.

What you menat by inspection lot here..is it inspection plan?

Then QP02 >Material assigment pls enter your vendor so system will pick the carasponding inspection plan
