SUP supports heterogeneous integration systems currently. You might want to check with them about choosing specific communication protocol. The possible protocols to integrate with SUP are

HTTP, Web services, Database connectivity via JDBC adapters.

Please provide your approach and elaborate more requirements here.

Hi Basker gopalakrishnan,

Thanks for your reply. We are planing to go with HTTP adapter and in some other blogs i read that SOAP adapter is also suitable. Could you please help me outh with the procedure how to integrate with HTTP adapters.

HTTP Adapter: This can be used for two purposes.

Web application: If the target system is running web application then you can use http reciever to post the data to the target system's webserver that host web application.

Please refer SDN for the http receiver scenarios. we need to configure url details in the http receiver. we could also use value query within URL to submit the data.

Web services: We can use plain http adapter to consume webservice too. In this situation if the target system runs Rest webservice (without expecting SOAP envelope and complex authentication algorithm).

The above two instances we use HTTP adapter practically.

Please elaborate more requirement after discussing with target clients.
