Grant Cannot be used for entering budget in Fund Management

Fund Management & Grants Management are Activated.While Budget Entry through Fund Management when i enter the Grant the following Error Occurs

Grant xxxxxxxxxx cannot be used for entering budget in Funds Management

Message no. GRANTMGMT637

Diagnosis

You are trying to create an entry budget document in Funds Management using a grant.

System Response

For entry documents, only the following are allowed in such cases:

A grant with a value of space

A grant with whatever value has been defined for the activity "Not Relevant for Grants"

Procedure

Change the line item of the budget document where you are using a grant different than the permitted options described above.

You are not mentioned detailed information on the issue, as per the error message seems you entering budget in BCS with a real grant. The field is always NOT_RELEVANT when budget documents are created.

Please look the note 1475789  might be helpful.

Hello,

Correct: in BCS (transaction FMBB) you can only enter budget using Non-relevant grant.

Budgeting on GM relevant grants must be done in GM.

Hi,

BCS is entered with the Real Grant.

FMBB is the transaction code i am using, has this is governtment organization need to post the budget along with the grant so that all the Inflows and outflows are been recorded by using Fund management along with grant management and hence activated.

While posting the following error is occured, need to know BAPI can solve my error.

Additional question: why not entering budget in Grantee Management? If grantee functionality is active, could you please describe how will it be used in your scenario?
