hi,

when entering the material which has BOM assign to it it shows the error -configuration not possible during creation of sales order..so help me out to solve this problem.

message no-v1628 is shown

Hello John,

Are you creating sales order from a service notification?

It is not possible to configure a material within a service notification. This is due to the call dialog mode. It is not possible at the moment to change this behavior because of the difficulties when calling a new transaction within another transaction.

Please refer to SAP note 549163, question 8.
