Hi All,
We are using SAP Router 39.4 for our SAP Landscap, Installed on Linux Operating System.
We recently installed this router, Router is working fine but sometime I found SAP router stop on server while we did not stop the router.
I start it and it start working but not sure why it get down again and again.
I came to know that we can add some options in Router startup command so that if anytime it process get down...it automatically get start.
I gone through several documents but did not find this command.
Please suggest how can I make my router automatically start if its process get terminated.
Regards,
Shivam
Hello Shivam,
maybe you can add an according entry in /etc/inittab with option respawn. There is a lot of documentation about this all over the net.
regards
Christian

Hi,
create a script that checks existence of process saprouter, if it cannot find it, it could start it automatically.
But, I do not believe that is the way to go. You should monitor saprouter process, it is dies, you should get alerted through e-mail. this can be done with CCMS.
