Block resource calendar for setup activity only in PPDS

Dear SAP gurus,

My client has a special requirement which is block the resource calendar for setup activity only, in some hours of the day they want to allow the system to schedule productive activities on the resource but not the setup activity, changing the schedule to avoid setup during this specific work hours. Do you know how could I do this? If I block the resource calendar it would be blocked for all activities including setup and production.

Hi Mauricio,

you need two resources to achieve this: a primary resource for setup and production activities and a secondary resource for the setup activites only. On the secondary resource you can block the times where no setup is allowed.

Thanks for your reply, How to design it using standard routine and PDS? Can it be done using the BADI for PDS transfer?
