Order as Direct Material Label and Checkbox is not appearing in SC

Hi Gurus,

We are configuring new system with SRM 7.0 ehp 1. In back end we are using ECC 6 ehp 4. In classic scenario,

While creating shopping cart  'Order as direct material'  Label and check box is not appearing . I have checked all the configuration and settings.

Can anyone pls. throw some light on this issue?

Hello,

Direct Material Scenario is technically similar to Extended Classic Scenario.

Direct material scenario will create a local Purchase Order. The local PO is replicated to the backend system, but the leading PO is the local PO in SRM.

As far as I know, classic scenario cannot be adopted for Direct Material due to local PO creation.

Hi Prakash,

Order as direct material option is used for extended classic scenario. But as part of standard, the field should be avaliable in the SC. You need to hide this field from the end user if you are on classic scenario. Please check with your development team if somebody has done some enhancement to hide this field.
