When I change the measure from simple to amount with currecy and I give the option as fixed , I get the error as foolows
"Session client is missing for the user profile, please configure it. "
Also please provide the steps for the same i.e. currency conversion , tables from ECC to be used etc.
Hi Joseph,
When you try to do the Currency Conversion with Fixed Currency,you will encounter the following two issues.
1."System tables for currency conversion is missing in the default schema" :
To resolve this,you need to change the Default Schema of your View to the schema which has currency tables.
2."Session client is missing for the user profile,please configure it"
To resolve this,set the client for your user (Eg: say "800")
This will resolve your issue and you will be able to see all your currency and the respective description
Currency Description
ADP Andoran peseta
AED United Arab Emirates Dirham
AFA Afghani
and so on....

Hi Brendan,
Couple of points from my side:
1) Please check the client set in Window -> Preferences -> Default Model Parameters -> Default client.
2) Please check the default client set for the analytic view in the properties for the Analytic view
3) Please check if the schema which you are using for the conversion has the same settings.
4) Please confirm if the schema which is being used for currency conversion has all the required privs on the conversion table.
5) Please refer to the SAP note 1695990, if you still face the issues.
Can you please provide more information with appropriate screenshots.
Regards,
Ravi
I know this is a basic check, but have you maintained the session client for your user?

Hello Rakesh,
If you maintained the session client for your user then it will pop up the error that "System tables for currency conversion is missing in the default schema". So please replicate the relevant tables also in the SAP HANA. Then you will able to use the Currency Conversion option.
Hope it is useful.

Neha
I think you might have to import the relevant currency master tables along with exchange rates into hana. Set them up as an attribute;
When you convert the measure to currency; use the attribute option instead of fixed; select your currency attribute; it should link to the amount properly;
if you require exchange rates; that is possible through calculation views
