Hi,
I don't know why but the PDF I created from a Form I designed is protected, I can't print it.
I just can open it and read it, I can't copy the content and I can't print the doc.
The PDF seems to be password protected.
I just have no idea where to set/unset this kind of options.
Thanks a lot.
Matthieu
Hello Matthieu,
How did you create your form (which environment)? For example, in Web Dynpro Java there is a class (<a href="https://media.sdn.sap.com/javadocs/NW04s/SPS7/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/clientserver/adobe/pdfdocument/api/WDPDFDocumentProtectPermission.html">WDPDFDocumentProtectPermission</a>) dealing with such kind of protection options...

Philipp

Hello Matthieu,
The print program controls the PDF output. I.e. there is a parameter available to the application (<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/d6/46351a779f4145841c9946453340e8/frameset.htm">NOPRINT</a>) that results in a protected PDF. If printable PDFs are required for a specifc business process, the application should provide a possibility to also create a non-protected PDF. But this really depends on the application you are using and thus needs to be clarified by an application/business expert.
Regards,
Philipp
