User description after the user was deleted

Hello,

I’m not a basis expert but have a theoretical question.

If I had a user named DAN_A, which is not working anymore in the company and I want to delete the user – because I don’t want to pay for its license. In a few years I would like to know that DAN_A was Dan Anilevich . Is there a way to archive its name?
