Hi Folks,
I've a situation wherein I need to assign a incompletion procedure at item level. For material1 I need to use MVGR1(mat gr1) and MVGR2(mat gr2) for material2. I've assigned both the fields in the incompletion procedure and assigned at the sales doc item level. I need the system to show the incompletion as MVGR1 when I enter material1 and MVGR2 when I enter material2 at the item level.

You have maintained the incompletion log at the item level and i hope the incompletion log will not correspond on the basis of the entered material.
It will not differentiate both the MVGR fields during sales order entry.
It will prompt to enter the Mat grp2 also when saving the Sales order when only one material entered.
For better control you can check with the below user exit
This user exit can be used to carry out additional checks (e.g. for completion) at item level.
