Hi All,
We would like to automatically add line item (returnable pallet) to a customer's order if the quantity of product ordered goes over a specific amount. For example if amount to receive a pallet is 20 units and a customer orders 100 units, 5 returnable pallets should be automatically added to the customers order.
What is the best way of doing this, given the order quantity required for a pallet assignment will be the same for all customers and the products ordered are irrelevant? I'm really hoping not to have to modify an user-exit.
Hi,
Kindly cross-check with the "Cross selling" functionality in SAP SD if it suites your Business requirement.

Ravi

This is pretty standard. Like Ravi already said, you must check the "Cross-selling" in your packaging rule, and use the same reference material for packing for all materials that are relevant for this packing strategy (transactions POF and POP).
You of course need to configure the packaging determination in SD first, I don't understand if you are using it or not (you should).

Hi Former Member,
To acheive similar business functionality , we were creating return order on the save of sales order using output types . So , in this case , in output type , we only need to call BAPI to create return orders and ABAPer can help you creating 5 line item in new return order by exporting 5 entries for item in that BAPI, if that helps .

Pranshu
