how to use ACL functionality

I want to use ACL functionality in my projects....

but i dont have any idea that how it will work and wt config changes i have to do that one use can do the changes in one wbs and another one will have only read access for the same wbs.

First check what version of SAP you are on. If you are on a version that has EhP3 or above you need to activate the business function OPS_PS_CI_1 in transaction SFW5 to be able to use the ACL functionality. Take help from your Basis consultant for activating the business function.

Once this business function is activated you can then follow what Saurabh has mentioned above and go ahead. And one more thing, until and unless you do some testing (trial & error) with the ACL functionality you wont understand how it actually works.

You will have to do the necessary config for activating it at Project profile or network profile by selecting the radio buttons "ACL with Inhr" or "ACL without Inhr".
