Common inspection plan for material with rev level.

I created a common inspection plan in qp01 and assigned 50 material codes through material assignment tab in inspeciton plan.

My question is where should i mention the latest revision number for that 50 material code in inspection plan.

Hello EMJ,

To answer your question, you can not assign Revision Level to all 50 materials (what you've assigned to a specific Inspection Plan through Material Assignment Tab) in one go... You need to assign it using QP01 seperately to each material.

But before doing that or using Revision Level specific Inspection Plans, I strongly suggest you to create Inspection Plan with 'Valid From' date from PAST (Way long back date; from your first Revision Level Valid From Date). After which then system will be able to get single Inspection Plan for a particular material for any number of revisions.
