Hi all,
When I wanna create a proxy to call web service, but it shows that error arose:
Exception occurred in communication framework: Error in HTTP Framework:500 Native SSL errorhttps://………………
This is my first time to play with this, so I don't very much about it.
Does anyone know what the potential issues are?
It's very appreciated if you help me on this.
Information: Component version SAP ECC 6.0

Hi Robin,
It is hard to pin-point your problem without knowing more information on what exactly you are doing (e.g. which scenario are you working - Workflow, Reporting, Starter Services, your own custom development).
You mention it is your first time trying this. Let me point you to our Wiki, that will be helpful for anybody starting with Duet Enterprise:

Especially the Installation and Configuration area should be of help to you.
Cheers, Alex

Hi Alex,
The problem hasn't been solved yet. The situation is I created the service consume in SE80, but I don't configure the logical port(It's responsibility of BASIS and I am not authorized to access it). Technically, it doesn't have to set the logical port before I have the proxy class generated. Another information is I have configured the IP address and relevant URL in host file. It showed that 404 failed con before I configure the host file. I can provide the WSDL URL if needed.
Hi Robin,
Are you able to run any other service over HTTPS? You can do a simple test from the browser. Try to call: https://<host>:<port>/sap/public/info. See if you get a valid response. Also take a look at transaction SRTUTIL and see if can find more information on the error.
Cheers, Alex
Hi Robin,
I am sorry, but there seems to be basic problems with the setup of your NetWeaver system, which do not seem to be related to Duet Enterprise.
I would like to ask you to see if you can get help from a SAP Basis consultant to work with you to get SSL working in your system.
Cheers, Alex
