I am looking for a way to get the partner number of an SRM ship-to address from an ECC customer number. Does anyone know of a way to do this? kna1-adrnr (ECC) and adrc-addrnumber (SRM) don't seem to match. Are they supposed to?
I am not sure if we can establish a relationship, since SRM delivery address are created locally and not replicated from ECC. Have a look at SAP note 1689758.
My original requirement was to set the ship-to address in SRM to be the same as an address that was stored in ECC, but it looks like that's not a concrete link. Instead we've decided to use a different ship-to address that we know is maintained on the SRM side.
It looks like it just can't be done the way I was thinking. While I don't like accepting that ( ALL things are possible through good programming) I'm going to go ahead and close the thread. Thanks for all the help.
