Sending PI Alerts

Hi,

We have configured PI 7.3 AEX to send alerts to an ALM in an ABAP system. This works fine and email alerts are going out based on the alert category defined in alrtcatdef.

Next step is to send alerts to an external system as a HTTP POST.

Based on this presentation, page 35, alerts can be sent to an HTTP destination. However, there is no such option in NW ABAP 7.x

Any thoughts or suggestions on how to send alerts to a HTTP POST?
