How can I trigger the same IDoc, if it is failed? without generating the idoc number?
Hi Rajesh,
The answer depends on your particular scenario. For an inbound IDoc processed unsuccessfully because of some application (business) reasons that you correct in the meantime, you can reprocess it in bd87. For a communication error in outbound IDoc, you simply reexecute the LUW in sm58 - only the tRFC transaction created for an IDoc, not the IDoc itself. Both of these methods do not create IDoc copy, so no new IDoc number is assigned.
Hope this helps,
Greg

Hi,
Inbound failed Idocs can be processed thru BD84 but you need to have proper authorization to process that failed Idoc and commit that required business action.
