Interactive form contorl property: PDF source and interface source

Hi,

i have 2 questions regarding the property of the ui element of interactive form

1. if i only want to display a pdf form (not interactive one), can the pdf form displayed correctly if i set the pdf source property to a binary string generated by a function module,and leave the interface source blank?

2. if i want to display an interactive form, it MUST be a SFP form with interface type of XML? how about the ABAP interface, can i work with webdynpro for abap?

Hi Jun,

Let me quickly answer the questions:

1. yes, only bind the pdfSource property

2. that's not required, but you will need at least SP10 (better SP11 once it will be available)

thank u for ur information, here i have another question

how about the offline form?

I mean , i need to build a WDA application, which will be used as a

download center form offline forms, those form is interactive, but it's for offline use, people download it from portal , fill them out and send back via email, no relationshio with WDA APP context, is it possible ? i mean only use the pdf source?

Yes, starting with SP10 (better SP11), this is possible.
