Hi All,
Please let me know how to use Document management system in WCM and what are the applications for this.
Thanks,
Baiju
Greetings Baiju,
I believe you can't actually use the DMS for WCM Object in a standard system, without a custom development.
Howerver, you can use the Services for Objects functionality in order to attach documents to your WCM objects.

Greetings Baiju,
When you go into a WCM object e.g. a WCA in t-code WCTL or WCD in WCT7, you can then use the Services for Object icon (located just below the green "Enter" icon in the upper left corner of the GUI screen) to create notes, attach a file to be stored in SAP repository or attach an URL to link to a document in the intranet/internet. You can also access previously attached documents here.
A client had used this functionality to attach additional documents (e.g. permit scans, links to schematics or approved work manuals) to their WCM documents to be immediately referencable by the WCM processors.
The document is hardly visible on the main screen until you go to the Object Services window, so you might want to set up a new informative User Status e.g. DOAT - "Documents attached" for your WCA or WCD
