what is the difference between customer calender and factory calender. factory calender means which days are working days at plant side
but what about customer calender?

You define customer-specific calendars .Using this calendar, the SAP System determines the customer's workdays and public holidays. Furthermore, the requested delivery dates and confirmation dates in sales are determined and checked using the calendar.

customer calender is not specified calender , it it combination of public calender+holy day calender +factory calender . please check the the img-sales and distribution-master data-business partners -customer - shipping -define customer calender - here you will define public , factory , holiday calender,
factory calender is define for the plant level , because this calender can assign plant . in this calender maintain the country wise , here you maintain the from and to year , and assign the holiday calender , so system will take this settings
