.MDF DATABASE is growing and rest are files in RED

Hi All,

           In our one of the SAP Server, .MDF DATABASE File is growing and rest of the files are not growing, kindly provide us the solution.

          We have already set the growth limit to 10% for rest of the files and size as " No Limit".

           For your kind information i have attached screenshot of the database error screen.

They are red because there is no free space within those files. I would suggest that it might be worth manually increasing the size of those files as a first step. As a general rule, the database should be spread equally across the available files.

I also note that the transaction log is quite large, but has a lot of free space. This could be an indication that the backup is not working correctly - you should also check that.

Might have a transaction running stopping the backup working correctly

Restart db and sap system.
