Hi GRC gurus
Our client requires approval of access requests to be done based on combination of company and functional area. So I have used BRF+ rules to create Initiator and Agent rules and then activated the rule IDs. Then I have added the Initiator and Agent rule IDs to the MSMP workflw, created the approval agents by assigning them to the Agent rule ID, created paths and assigned the rule result values to the paths. Then generated a new version of the MSMP workflow configuration.
But when I am submitting an access request , I am getting an error mesage"Item '0001' resulted to ''; cannot resolve path; check routing mapping. Request submit failed; error in MSMP submit method.
I checked the route mapping. It seems to be correct.I had assigned the rule result values to the Path IDs(same name as the rule results value).
If you have any suggestions please reply at the earliest.
Thanks in advance.
Hi Saibal,
Kindly check that you have enabled the Event Linkage for the Access Request activity under the
IMG => Governance Risk and Compliance => General Seetings => Workflow => Perform Task
speciifc customizing.
All the services here should be activated relating to the Workflows we want GRC application to
generate.Refere to the post-installation guide for the same.
Also check that the WF-Batch user has SAP- ALL assigned to it.

Hi,
I've been through all your suggestions and haven't yet resolved this issue.
As a background, I have a custom BRF+ initiator that has been working. I recently made a change to it in order to add a new request type, and tested it in my dev system. It tested fine. Then I transported the initiator to our QA system.
The workflows have been updated to match the config and have also been transported.
At this time, everything in our QA system looks identical to the dev system, yet in the QA system, we get this error message.
Having followed the recommendations, I've checked the workflow config etc and all is consistent with what's being recommended here.
At this time, I'm not clear on why this error is occurring. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Santosh
Hi All,
I am facing the similar error in our QA system. (Item '0001' resulted to 'Z_NO_SATGE_PATH'; cannot resolve path; check routing mapping)
I have checked all recommendation mentioned in the thread and its fine. But I'm still facing the error.
Below is the BRF+ setting for which the path triggered.(I have mentioned the Z_NO_SATGE_PATH for the highlighted line)

I had come across the same error. Please check the initiator config and test.

Ajesh.

Hi
I have rectified the problem. Thanks. I have one more query.
Our client wants an approval workflow where based on criticality level of risk Id(if any risk is detected in Risk anlaysis), approvers would be determined. Is there any way such a routing rule can be created in BRFplus flat rule(line item by line item) application so that this requirement can be met? I have tried out the routing rules that are generated from "Define Workflow related MSMP rules". But I could not find any any element like Risk Id or Risk level which I can use for that purpose. Can you help?
