Hi Johnn,

Fabulous question. Where can I start -

1. If you are a R/3 or ERP user then its very similar to Stock/Requirement List - MD04

2. It is the most commonly used transaction for PPDS (Production Planning Detailed Scheduling) users.

3. It is called "Product View" and lists all receipts, requirement and stock elements for a given location-product-version combination

4. It has multiple tabs through which you can see the Product Master data, Pegging relationship, Stock details (at all different locations for the product)

5. You can execute a number of other PPDS functionalities from this - like a Product Heuristic execution, convert SNP orders to PPDS orders, set conversion flag to convert planned to production orders, carry out ATP check, firm or unfirm an order, delete an order etc.

It's practically the lifeline for a Production Planner and also for functional consultants for troubleshooting.

Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Somnath
