user getting locked in solution manager

Hi,

Our admin user getting locked in solution manager daily.  Checked all RFC's in solman and other systems but this Id is not used in SM59.

In SM21 -> User SAPADMIN locked due to incorrect logon 

and logon terminal it is showing terminal name SOLMAN only (our solution manager hostname)

Hi,

Are you able to get any information from SUIM change document for the user.

if you knw the user is getting locked as soon as you unlocking every time, activate st01 for the user, and check which is trying to lock the user

And go to st03n and check any reports running with the user id, using user profile.

SLDCHECK is giving below message, I am able to login to j2ee_admin and status is showing - RUNNING

Calling function LCR_LIST_BUSINESS_SYSTEMS
Retrieving data from the SLD server...
Function call returned exception code     3
=> Check whether the SLD is running!

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations

Now checking access to the XI Profile

Hi James,

what is the exact issue, does your user lock issue resolved?

are you trying to link both SLDCHECK and Admin user lock issue together?

If both the issue not related please create other discussion.

Now to make the sldcheck to work, you need to proceed the local sld settings in SOLMAN_SETUP.

may i knw have you done tat?

user is getting locked, and LANDSCAPE FETCH job failing which is scheduled from SAPADMIN user.

I was just cheking SLDCHECK for information

fine then, please go the SLDAPICUST tcode, delete the password and give a new password, and reexecute the landscape fetch and check.

HI James,

By any chance did you change your SAPADMIN password recently and forgot to update in Landscape fetch job,This may be causing the issue.

I had same problem with J2ee_admin it's keep getting locked in my system and when i see the canceled jobs LMDB job getting failed and in the logs it says using RFC LMDB_syncDEST,when do the connection test it was asking credentials then i changed the new password for j2ee_admin there.everything working fine.

Hello,

I suggest you to check if the user SAPADMIN has been used in the following locations:

1) 'Basic Configuration' step '2.3 Set UP Credentials', check the user provided there,

2) 'Managed System Configuration' of the Solman system, check in the step 'Enter System Parameters' the administrator users.

Update the credentials for the user and run the required activities again.

Hi,

I have an instant solution or avoiding the user getting locked.

Change the user tyoe to SYSTEM and unlock it.

maybe the user run job that try to connect to SLD or else
