AUC Description for capital projects

Hello All,

I have setup Investment project for a client with default Asset class in the Investment profile.

So on project release system automatically creates AUC, but description of this AUC remains blank? any pointers on the standard practice to have some AUC description will be helpfull.

Not sure, but after going through a couple of related threads i think the WBS description should get copied to the AuC that gets created after releasing the WBS.

Moreover you can check if any description is maintained for the asset class, in tcode OITA.

Dear Gokul,

Somehow system is not copying description of WBS to AUC on release, dont really know why?

I have already maintained Asset class description in (OAOA), but did not help.

Hi Gokul, Ananth,

We can configure (defaulting WBS description to Asset desc) in asset master screen layout.
