Hi,
I have configured EEM in solman 7.1 and i have installed 2 robots which are running scripts.
One of the robot is running SAP GUI and HTTP scripts both but for Http the monitoring UI shows the robot is connected and scripts running well. But for SAP GUI script for the same robot it shows that the robot is disconnected and it says execution scheduled but not carried out and script has not been executed in the specified time frame.
Does anybody know why this is happening.
Hi Vishal,
It may the case the robot cannot access the GUI COM objects.Try adding daaadm / sapservicedaa to the Administrators group temporarily and restart the agent.

Roland

Hi Vishal,
Can you help me with the deployment of http/gui scripts against robots? I have confirgured EEM on our landscape. I can see the agents in EEM Administration screen > Robots > Check Agents but cannot see any http or GUI options checked due to which I cannot save and deploy the same against the scripts.
Regards,
Ankit
Hi Ankit,
The http and GUI options depends on the host on which you have installed the agent. If SAP GUI is installed on that host then only the agent will be able to run the GUI script. Similarly to run http script there should be internet explorer installed on that host.
I was facing the same problem. Make sure the host on which the robot is installed also has SAP GUI and IE installed on it. Only then you will be able to deploy these scripts

Vishal
Hi Ankit,
As i said I was facing the same problem. I tried using 2 robots, both were on the ECC systems. One system was having Window OS and the other was a unix system.
The windows system was able to run http as it had IE where as it was not possible in Unix. And both the systems did not have SAP GUI logon installed as they were not for the end users, so SAP GUI script could not be deployed on any of the robot.
Best option is install a robot on your machine and then use it as EEM robot or you will have to install the SAP GUI and IE on the host of the robots you are using.
Once you do any of the above mentioned activity you will http and SAPGUI options checked.
Regards,
Vishal
