Purchase Requisition has not been created for a shopping cart..

Hi All,

The shopping cart is in approved status but the "item status" is showing as "Error in Process" and the follow on document(Purchase Requisition) has not been created for the same.

Kinldy help me in finding out the reason behind this issue.

Hi Abhi,

This happens normally due to some data issue in the shopping cart. In BBP_PD try to find out the exact error message you are getting. If no error message, try to run FM BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER in SRM and check the status again in BBP_PD. It should show the error message.

Then you can analyze and fix the data issue either in SRM / ECC (if classic scenario).

After fixing the data issue, try to run FM BBP_REQREQ_TRANSFER again in SRM and check whether it has been converted to PR.

Thanks a lot! for your response.

Finally we got to know the issue is like there is a problem at ECC side in G/L Account and Cost Center setup for Purchasing which have been used in the Shopping Cart.

Hi Abhi,

Plz reprocess the cart and then check in bbp_pd. There you will get the exact error message. Else you can check in RZ20. This will help you.

Hello,

Go to Monitor shopping cart and you can see the description of the error message. You should resolve that error message and reprocess the shopping cart again also using Monitor shopping cart. Which version are you on with SRM ?
