Hi all,

Does PI persist messages separately in Java stack DB instance?Do we need to archive and delete messages from Java DB separately? As of now we are only archiving and deleting messages from ABAP stack..  Could someone throw some light on this?

Thanks & Regards,

Lekshmi.

HI,

You can archive message and explicitly set archiving location using TCode SARA,which is used for archive adminstration purpose.

Dear Monika,

Its already sceduled for AE. I hope that's how the messages are getting cleared.

So what about archival??How can I acheive that?My client wants to archive the synchronous messages and how can i do that if I am upgrading to PI single stack?

As per my understanding Single stack PI instalation also required Archiving deletion process to achive message like dual stack .

What do you mean by JAVA DB?

Hi ,

In my case we are using PI 7.0 and using separate database schemas for Java and ABAP. By Java DB I was referring to the schema used by Java stack .
