Hello Mohan,

Accelerator files are used to store Indexing which makes the data access faster. they are updated from the data base when you load the repository with "update indices".

So when you Load repository with Update Indices the Indices are updated and stored in Accelerator files(repository load time is slow when you used Update indices option since the its read from database), and the next time you load the repository with Immediate they are read from the Accelerator files rather than the Database so the loading is faster

You can refer the .acl files in server "Program Files\SAP MDM <version>\Server\Accelerators"

Can you please tell me about MDM Accelerators, instead of Accelerator files (which are used in Console).

Hello Mohan,

The one i replied about are nothing but MDM Accelerators.

MDM Accelerators contain Accelerator files.
