how to convert transport to compatible with new SAP version

Hi, we have transport developed in ECC 6.0 system.  We want to import it in ECC60 EHP5 system and we are getting error that it is not compatible.  How do we make it compatible for different version of sap systems?

Hello Digesh,

Please choose option "Ignore Non-Matching Component Versions " while importing the transport into EHP5 system.

How can you give such dangerous and worst pratice advice...

The only good answer it that you neeed to recreate the transport request in a ECC6 EHP5 source system.
