Hi All,

In a scenario of shopping cart , I am using the enhancement spot /SAPSRM/BD_WF_AGENTS. In the hierarchy of approval process say first we have MANAGER then we have SENIOR MANAGER . In this scenario the work item for approval first comes to MANAGER and then goes to SENIOR MANAGER.

Now if I don't have a manager the approval process does not go forward.

I want it to go to SENIOR MANAGER. How do I handle this. I am using 2 badi implementations, and both have filters to identify a shopping card document and approver name.

Hi,

is it an sc based approval? I assume that in your process level design you defined 2 levels: manager approval and senior manager approval.

Try the following:

In your implementation of method GET_AREA_TO_ITEM_MAP for /SAPSRM/BD_WF_AGENTS don't assign the document  to an area (the returning table is empty). This means that the step will be automatically approved and will continue to the next level.
