Ho to activate custom datasource in NW Portal 7.3?

Hi everyone,

I would like to use a custom datasource for high availibility. I have uploaded custom datasource but I have got problems to activate it.If I try it online, I get "Validation failed.". I haven't found more information about that error in log files.

Custom datasource file has 3 LDAP server (Microsoft Active Directory) and has been modified like described in SAP docu mentioned belowed. I also set additional passwords with expert mode, so I don't know why validation fails.

I tried offline with configtool too, but there is no path cluster_config system custom_global cfg services com.sap.security.core.ume.service persistent

What can I do?

Ok, I were able to solve the problem ... Service user was not able to logon to all domain controllers, so validation failed. evereything works fine now.
