application error- manual restart possible in sxmb_moni

hi experts,

in BAAN - PI- SNC scenario,

in the sxmb_moni of SNC system, a lot of messages are getting failed. giving error 'Application error- Manual restart possilble'.

and if try to restart this message then message is displayed ' Message has been scheduled for reprocessing', nut it never gets processes.

no queues(smq1 & smq2) are blocked.

could u pls help, how we reprocess these mesgs? and why do they come.

Hi Aditi,

If in your scenario you can use BPM's then you can check with where that BPM has failed.You can see in SXMB_MONI you can check with PE(behind the red flag) i.e mapping error or some thing like that...,etc.Some times whaever you send the message(means that record in file or some thing)  are also incorrect.

Note:You won't restart the this failed messages,after recorrect that errors then you one more time send the message to moni then it's work fine.

This approach i had followed the  previous for the same error.

Schedule job SXMB_RESTART_MESSAGES to process the failed messages,it avoids manual restart.
