Not able to open SID directory

Hi All,

Im on AIX. In my file system when i do ls i could able to see my SID(GSQ) folder. Im pasting log below. Kindly help me regarding this.

#ls            

ccms           sapservices.1  temp_install   trans.old

GSQ            lost+found     sapservices.2  tmp

SMD            sapservices    sapservices.3  trans

# ls -l

ls: 0653-341 The file ./GSQ does not exist.

total 64

Hi All,

Thanks for the reply. i could able to see other instance folders which are mounted. But i could not able to see only GSQ folder. Correct me of im wrong here.

It happens sometimes,

Please remount the GSQ folder.It will work fine after that.

Hello Mahi,

It's NFS mount issue in AIX OS. Please have your unix admin to unmount and remount the file system. It should be resolved your issue. I had come across this issue many times.

can you give a "du -sg * ." & post the output.

Also post output of "ls -lart" as root user.

i think its a AIX patch issue.

Can u provide the output of the commands

1.)

cd .

pwd

2.)

cd ..

pwd

Looks like its OS related. Do ask your OS guys to upgrade to latest AIX patch set.

Hello Mahi,

Can you please confirm that your <SID> directory is nfs mount point or not?

It seems to me that this folder is nfs mount point and there is some error in nfs share.

You can try after unmount and mount again.
