Hi,
Please use this T.code carefully in Production system.
Attributes decides the user behavior
1) Only for changes in the user attribute you have to use.
2) For Person changing from One organization to other Organization -just drag the user and put in the new org.
3) For adding new catalog to the user.
4) For changing company code, cost centre, etc.
5) If you are not doing any change better user PPOSA_BBP
6) For Address change in the Organization
7) For shopping on behalf the user ID is assigned in the attribute
There are many uses while working in a support project you will get more opportunity to

Hi Sudheendra,
The attributes are the glue in the enterprise organization in SRM.
Basically each organization unit has a function: company, purchasing organization or purchasing group and attributes. Attributes are used to define possible entries for document type, roles, movement types, cost centers etc.
Therefore it is very important to understand the concept of attributes and to set up the organization units and the corresponding attributes carefully.
Attributes are also inheritable, so a sub unit (e.g. purchasing group) can have also the attributes of his super unit (purchasing organization).
PPOMA_BBP is used to change those attributes.
In the transaction you can also set up addresses, assign units, perform checks on the attributes etc.
You should check the links from Vinay, which describe the main purpose of the attributes and which attributes are available at all.
Kind Regards
Björn
