Solman Upgrade from 4.0 to SOLMAN 7.0 with EHP1

Hi All,

We are planning to upgrade SOLMAN 4.0 running on Windows 2003 and Sql Server 2005 DB (32 bits system) to SOLMAN 7.0 with EHP1.

Our SP level is 11 in the current SOLMAN and as per the suggestion we have to upgrade it to SP 17.

I have certain doubts regarding the Upgrade:

1. Is it complusory to upgrade SOLMAN to 7.0 first and then to SOLMAN with EHP1 or SOLMAN 4.0 can be upgraded to SOLMAN 7.0 with EHP1?

2. I am not able to find the SP's for SOLMAN 4.0 to upgrade it to 17 or above.

Need your help in finding the answer.

I need to upgrade my SOLMAN 4.0 to 7.0, I found your discussion here, could you please help me out with the steps in doing so if you have completed the upgrade.

1. Solman 4.0 and Solman 7.0 are the same thing (I think it came at the time NW04s was renamed 07)   So you need to patch your system to Stack 17 and then apply the Enhancement Package.

2. You need to look for your patches under Solman 7.0
