UoM issue

Hi All,

As per the material Master the following Units & the conversion:

Base Unit= CSE (Case)

Sales Unit= ZIN

72 EA        each          <=>      1          CSE

6 ZIN       Inner Box   <=>      1          CSE

The Pricing Record VK11 maintained 6.30 MYR per each material.

But The general calculation according to the calculator, Which is required to my client is:

6 ZIN = 6.30 X 72 = 453.60

1 ZIN = 453.60/6 = 75.6

2 ZIN = 75.6 X 2 = 151.2

According to the system, it calculates in the document

1 ZIN = 75.53

And 2 ZIN = 151.05 instead of 151.06

My client's reqt.:  1 ZIN = 75.6 but the UoM can't be maintained from EA to ZIN Bcoz the Base Unit of measure is CSE.

Please guide. Any lights on this issue are most appreciate.

Hi,

Please maintain AUOM in material master 1 ZIN = 12 EA, and in VK11 maintain 453.6 per CSE as pricing. calculation is as below:

1 each = 6.30

1 CSE = 6.30*72 =453.6

1 ZIN =6.30*12 =75.6

Thanks for your time and effort with the suggestions, but as you know I can't make any changes to the material master.

To be added with my query, system finds the value for the particular material as follows:

Amount 6.30/- MYR per EA

Cond.Base Value 23.976 EA

Condition Value 151.05 MYR

So the system calculates accordingly--- 23.976 x 6.30 = 151.05

But my query is how the system calculated these values.

Please through some lights.

Hi

First of check in Material Master record,weather UoM has been maintained for ZIN or not.Also check in VK12 what is the UoM that has been maintained.

Dear Sarat,

I am not sure if this is the problem, But check the rounding ruke in v/06 make it as commercial.

Also check Tcode OB90.

Hi,

With an Example:

In Material Master

Base unit of Measure = EA (Each)

Issue unit = PA (Packs)

Order Unit = CAS (Case)

Sales UOM = PAL (Palletes)

For the above we would maintain the different UOM conversion in the Material Master Data- Additional Tab - Unit of Measurement

The above screen data is different but it is for your understanding only.

In your case maintain

1 CSE = 72 EA

1CSE = 6 ZIN

And Conversion in Material Master cannot be maintained in decimal places.

Try to check it in VK11

You have to go material edit view and go to Additional Data Tab. There you can maintain alternative UoM. Then You can proceed further.
