Profit center in service contract

Hi all,

When I create a service contract using a service material (Material type DIEN), the profit center from the service item is not carried over to the contract. The profit center is not automatically getting derived from the material master. I did maintain the profit center in the Sales: General/Plant Data tab.

How do I get the Profit Center auto populated from service material master, as in the case of a regular sales order or material master?

Hi,

Check whether the profit center has been assigned to relevant cost center (Controlling area),then only the profit center will come into your contract's.

Check with the help of FICO consultant.

P.S. just in case run KE52 and make sure the CoCd is assigned
