ex2 kernel for SAP 4.7 enterprise 2.00

Dear all

I wander how to use ex2 kernel for SAP 4.7 enterprise 2.00. Under this kernel also usage of Oracle 11.2.0.2 should be possible. We plan to migrate to new platform and so i would use export/import to newest Oracle release (btw are installation media available for download)?

After that we would run upgrade

Kernel 640_EXT works fine with 11g.

SAP Note 1478351 - Oracle 11g Support on UNIX: 6.40-Based SAP Systems tells you how to install the 4.7x200 system directly with Oracle 11g.

Also, I had fun with the instant client, so read  SAP Note 819829 - Oracle Instant Client Installation and Configuration on Unix
