Hi Sunny,

Why don't you try to download new version of saprouter as I suggested and test?

Hi Sunny,

Did you get chance to check with your network team about this issue?

Since SAProuter is starting initially and getting stopped.there seems to be Network issue.

Thanks,

Hello Sunny,

I guess I´m with the exactly same problem as you...

First at all you´re right, I don´t see a saprouter 720 version in SAP Marketplace portal, only the 640; 700; 710 are available!

I opened a thread in Ittoolbox where I reported this problem and now I´m testing the 720 version of saprouter that is in Kernel 720 packages/patches. I will post the results here soon.

Kind regards,

JDimas

Hi Sunny,

I checked the traces that you have attached.

Tue Mar 13 17:03:21 2012
***LOG Q0I=> NiIRead: P=194.39.131.34:3299; L=0.0.0.0:54797: recv (10054: WSAECONNRESET: Connection reset by peer) [nixxi.cpp 4931]
*** ERROR => NiIRead: SiRecv failed for hdl 46/sock 520
    (SI_ECONN_BROKEN/10054; I4; ST; P=194.39.131.34:3299; L=0.0.0.0:54797) [nixxi.cpp    4931]

Return code 10054 means "connection reset by peer" is a clear indication
for a network problem as this error is thrown by the operating system.

On Windows this can be caused by
- a physicaly interupted connection (network cable pulled out or a
defective NIC/switch/bridge/router) or
- a network timeout caused by a firewall dropping packets (e.g. after an
idle timeout).
- a black hole router

I have however seen a case where, the issue occurred due to a problem
with saprouter.

Can you please check if you see an error similar to the following
in the Event log:

Faulting application name: saprouter.exe, version: 7100.201.17.47443,
time stamp: 0x4bfae3ce
Faulting module name: saprouter.exe, version: 7100.201.17.47443, time
stamp: 0x4bfae3ce
Exception code: 0xc0000005
Fault offset: 0x000000000000c1f3
Faulting process id: 0xe60

If you see an exception code "0xc0000005" the issue may be related
to the bug in note 1486956. Please download the latest version of
saprouter and see if this resolves the issue.

Also note that 710 version is out of support. Refer SAP note 66971.

Naveen.

Hi Naveen,

I anallysed the Event Log files and the fault came out to be the same as mentioned by you.

Then I went on to check the SAP note1486956 but the solution provided there is for SAP Kernel Release 7.1 and 7.11 and in my system it is at Release 7.01. There was no solution mentioned fo r this Release of SAP Kernel.

This seemt to be network issue. Pls contact to your network team to check firewall settings causing Router to stop frequently.

Thanks,
