Can attachment in PR ECC to go SRM?

Dear SAP gurus,

We are in SRM 7 EHP 1 with backend ECC 6 EHP 5. We are planning to use Plan Driven Procurement scenario with XI/PI to transfer the PR. There is one thing I would like to confirm though. If we attach document in the PR in ECC (either directly or through DMS), then we transfer the PR to SRM as SC, will this attachment available as well in SC in SRM?

We would like to have the same functionality as when we create requisition in SC, we can input attachment there, and then the attachment will be available for RFx processing in SRM.

Hi,

It's very much possible. Attachment will be available in SC.

If in doubt; use Txn SPROXY in ERP and search Service Interface :PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_Out.

There you will find Attachment Folder elements in External View/Internal View.

Thanks for your response. This attachment that you're saying can be transfered, is this the attachment that we put in the general service (on the icon on top left of the screen) or the attachment in the DMS? or can be both?

You should try with general service first.

If not transferred then it should be both. As DMS carries item level data.
