While most RE-FX application is for leasing, it is possible / flexible to address real estate sales. It make sense to make the sale in RE-FX to keep the view of the entire portfolio as a whole. You can create a custom sales contract type, condition types for selling price, down payments, etc., and flow types that recognize the sale, and periodic postings for the installment receivable.
